Hi, I have an old headset made for gameboy advance sp and I wanted to use them with other devices — does anyone know if there are reverse adapters for this or other peripherals. I have found the adapter that allows regular headsets to work with the GBA sp itself, but I can’t seem to find female-GBA to male-3.5 adaptors. Thanks!
The Gameboy accessory port is derived from LVDS if my limited knowledge on the accessory port is correct, but it’s one of the many low voltage standards Nintendo could alter and make nonstandard. You will almost certainly need custom hardware as well for it to work. Nintendo uses a digital connection since it’s primarily a communication port, which is where the issue with conversion starts. Simply put there is no practical way to convert these accessories, as much as you want it to exist.
