After removing a logic board on any iPhone to do some repair work, is it essential that all the screws be back in the phone to perform testing? I’m curious, because we’ve been getting into iPhone repair, and when we’re re-assembling the phones, we’ve been running tests without all the screws holding the logic board in to make it easier to remove if we need to.
Its smart to put all the screws back before connecting the battery. Some serve as grounds.
No there not i fix all phones but with all the iphones i do about 10 a day some times less but i take the logicboard out and the sheilds off but i do tape the back off before i put the logicboard in and the top screw to test that ive fixed the problem and if not i take apart remove the chip replace and try again untill i get it right then once its done and checked then i put all the sheids back in and put all the screws back in place them put all together and one last check then back to the customer,? But if you not confident on what your doing then always put everything back were it came from,?
