Hi, I received an iPhone 6 and I am currently using it as my daily driver but there’s one thing that I noticed. The battery life is bad and when I go to settings to check the health of the battery, it never loads (Just’s sits at a spinning circle). I have tried using 3uTools and that says 100% but I think that is false as it can’t report the serial or brand. I am looking at getting an ifixit battery but I hear that the battery health does not communicate with them and that some of them don’t have good battery life. Are ifixit batteries good to use and have great battery life or should I purchase from a different supplier? I love ifixit products but with all the mixed reviews I am debating the battery for this phone.

I’m 0 for 1 on iFixit batteries, but they’re sending me a new one free of charge and have been responsive in their customer service department. I’m willing to give them another shot. I keep all my old batteries though (provided they aren’t a hazard, i.e., bulging or puffing) just in case something goes awry with the replacement, and you should too. Use the packaging iFixit sends you to store your old battery in a temperature-controlled place. Good luck.
