I went to replace the battery on my iPhone. In doing so I got a little overzealous and ended up tearing the bottom ribbon for the screen. is there a way to repair this or do I have to replace the screen as well?
You need to replace the screen. Ribbons can only be replaced using bonding machines.
@schrdtny I am certain there are people that have the tools and the skill to solder flex cables. If you are not one of those people your best bet will be to replace the display assembly.
