So after replacing my ipad 4 screen. i am unable to install apps, after hitting install it just stay stuck loading. also my lock/power button won’t work to lock the screen. the weird thing is, it works to turn off my device. anyone know any solution?
The power button issue is caused by aftermarket replacement digitizers missing the smart cover ic on the home button flex. Using the original home button from the old screen should fix the problem. I’m not sure what would be causing the stuck on loading thing, are you downloading via Wi-Fi or Cellular Data (3G / 4G)? Is the signal high or low?
