Chosen Solution
I saw on a British site that they have a microphone replacement ‘cable’ available. Does anyone know whether this assembly includes the actual microphone and if so, when iFixIt may have a part available too? Long story is that I know my microphone is bad. I need it replaced and Apple won’t fix it. Thanks.
I have purchased cable assembly with microphone, for replacement must to de-solder actual from motherboard and microsolder the new, remember that cable has microphone, data transfer and battery charge….
