Chosen Solution
My back plate detached and disconnected three connectors. I soldered two wires,, which appears to have fixed the charging problem. A ribbon with a “chip” like bracket at the end is also detached. I cannot get it to line up with the electronics within the body. It appears to be the heart rate sensor and activity tracker. Any help welcome.
