My thunderbolt display began being very dim. I have two which I use side-by-side, so the difference is obvious. Is this a LCD panel issue or more likely in the electronics? I have looked at the iFixit teardown and it seems like a reasonable repair if I can identify the part.
A dim display is often a failed LED light bar, or either the driver logic or the cable connector.
