When I plug in my phone after a minute the ape logo appears then the screen goes black I have a damaged home button
did anything happen physically to the phone that might have damaged the home button? honestly, no, i don’t think this behavior is indicative of a bad button (but don’t rule it out). personally, i’d start with something like itunes or 3uTools and do an IOS upgrade (without erasing any data). if that doesn’t work, maybe a itunes restore mode are you comfortable opening the phone yourself? if not, you might want to take it to a shop and see what they think, but it’s surprising how many times an IOS upgrade can fix issues, so definitely give that whirl first. if you are ok with DIY repairs, i’d pop it open and have a look at the battery. i’ve had two phones start acting wiggy and it turned out to be battery swell. putting in a new battery fixed it right away. if you have a precision measuring tool, a new battery for 6s should not be more than 3.25mm thick. if it’s larger than that, then definitely replace it. the last one i had this issue with, the battery was 4.80mm thick in the middle. good luck to you
