Chosen Solution
I changed the display, home button, and rear camera on an iPad 5 and now when I turn it on, the Apple logo comes on for 5 seconds then goes away and only the backlight stays on. I have taken the device back apart several times to make sure that all the connections are clean and properly plugged in, but it still acts like this. What am I missing or where do I go from here? Everything worked good on it when it was brought to me, minus the digitizer being broken.. Thank you.
I suspect you have received a faulty or low quality digitizer. I would try another digitizer just to be 110% sure. If a new digitizer doesn’t fix anything; I suspect it’s a Logic Board issue. iPad 5 Screen Digitizer iPad 5 LTE Front Panel Assembly Replacement
