Hello, i have an ipad mini 2 wifi. The battery was defective and i replace it. Once I turned it on the apple logo started blinking and a quick red screen comes then it keeps blinking the logo. Tried hard resetting and made no difference. Tried connecting it to the computer (iTunes), no effect. Re opened to check the battery connection, no effect. What could it be? Thank you.
Sounds like the Red Screen Of Death. Was the iPad at least booting with the old battery? If it was then try putting the old battery back in the iPad and see if the problem persists. If it boots with the old battery then your new battery may be defective and is causing the iPad to go haywire. If it still does it then its very possible you damaged the logic board when removing the old battery or putting the new one in.
