Apple have told me there is no longer any soft ware for my classic I pop I can not sync with I tunes on my Mac. It will not sync with a windows 7 lab top. Is there any soft ware available ?
@ipodclassic2017 I am really not sure exactly what you are asking. If you are referring to the firmware, you can most certainly download that from places like this. It will even tell you how to install it. My concern here is that you did not tell us what is wrong with your iPod. It could always be something unrelated. If your iPod is formatted for Mac it won’t run on a PC because Windows operating systems don’t recognize Mac OS-formatted disks. You can restore it in iTunes for Windows. Restoring will erase and reformat the iPod’s hard drive and reload the software with the Windows version. Check on here for the how to do it.
