I did something stupid and left my phone on top of my car then drove off. Well I ran over and the screen was destroyed but I could still see colors and hear sounds. So I had the screen replaced and the guy said my cameras wouldn’t work anymore also my Touch ID. Would there be anyway I could get my cameras working or should I have just sent it to my insurance and got it replaced?
Make a backup of your phone and then call your insurance and explain what happened, if they cover for it send the phone with the smashed screen and they will repair it. It all depends on your cover
@jayd96. New parts won’t solve this because it is a logic board problem, it need to be repaired by someone with micro soldering skills.
buy replacement camera parts from ebay and reconnect them using the ifix it guides.
