Hi guys, Working on a liquid damaged macbook air 2018 13”. Daughter/audio board has been marks on it and it looks like that is where the power button presses, but I wanted to see if we could turn the machine on with just the main logic board. Is there a power button bypass on these models / or power on pads? Thanks!
Liquid damage isn’t a very practical repair but I suppose you could try a daughter board with accompanying button. Although you can replace the button it would lose touch ID
