The computer is fully functional but the key board and power button do not work. I need the ribbon connector port on the logic board replaced for the key board. I screwed up the connector while I was replacing the mag safe port on the computer. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and don’t know of any place locally that can repair this. I would be open to sending it out for above mentioned repair, or possibly an upgraded board. The logic board I have is the 2.5ghz Intel Core i5. Thanks in advance.
draco10263 this is a very difficult question to answer. You will get plenty of subjective responses based on individual experiences but nothing objective. I suggest that you do an online search and review and speak with the repair shops that are attractive to you from whatever criteria is important to you (price, distance, service support etc.,) Of course you can always check on here https://www.ifixit.com/Business as well
