I opened up my macbook pro for a clean and noticed some wires were cut except for one. I dont have any issues so Im wondering what these are for and if it is important to fix. Anyone familiar with this?
These are coax antenna wires which go to the antenna assembly within the clutch cover and connect to the AirPort board
You’ll need to take the display off so you can swap out the antenna assembly MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Early 2011 Display Replacement and here’s the part Unibody MacBook Pro 13" Antenna Slide off the clutch cover to get to it.
