I fix laptops for a couple years now and I see repairing gets harder and more limited. Anyone already knows about the new MacBook? i’m highly curious! Thanks in advance.
In my opinion, the storage and RAM on the new MacBooks will be more expensive to repair. While the battery is now easier to remove on the pro models, the screen will likely be the same as they’ve been for a few years, any RAM or storage problems will be fixed by replacing the M1 chip, which is probably going to be a more costly repair than just replacing individual components. In addition, I think it will be harder to perform data recovery on these new computers.
