Anybody Replaced The Retina Display With A Standard 15 Display Macbook Pro 15 Retina Display Late 2013

I have a late 2013 MacBook Pro 15” retina (which is cracked & unusable) but I also have a 15” display from a MacBook Pro standard (non-retina) - I would like to know if anyone has successfully implemented a workaround to install the standard into the retina model.

Sorry just not possible! The Unibody display uses LVDS signaling between the main logic board to the T-CON board inside the display. The Retina display uses DisplayPort signaling (iDP) between the logic board to the T-CON board inside the display. Just like your old analog TV can’t access the newer digital over the air signals (or visa-versa).
