Where can I find a logic board with 16 GB? I have a mid 2014 version retina display 13”. I have swapped the original 256 GB SSD for a 1 TB, works OK. But that 8 GB of RAM is really a burden, because I run a lot of Photo editing programs simultaneously also through parallels VM, for Windows in my case. I just DON´T like the newer Macs, with only limited number of connections, unless i buy a bunch of cable adaptors for whatever… Anyone an idea ? THX
The only way is to replace the logic board with one that has 16 GB of RAM. Its not overly hard to do following this guide: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Mid 2014 Logic Board Replacement
