my macbook now have a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 and Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB. I am wondering if there are any better logic board to upgrade to?
you could try the i7 board
Sadly you only have two boards in your series MacBookPro7,1 and both are Core2Duo based. Apple made a sizable change with the 2011/12 models and then again with the Retina models none of which fit your system.
