Chosen Solution

I decided to update from my 5s to an SE. Being a cheapskate I bought a mint 128gb with a bad power button and then a very cheap lot of iphones with a few SE’s that were badly damaged. Everything worked great, and I got the power button swapped out, but…. Out of all the phones I took apart, the screen fought me a bit on the mint 128gb, when it finally came apart I tore the ribbon cable for the home button. I used one of the others, and have a usable phone, but no touch ID. Very disappointed in myself. I understand it is possible to micro solder these ribbons back together. Is there anyone that offers a mail in service and does this?

You would be lucky to find anyone who will do this repair. The repair would cost more than a new SE.
