Alright so here’s the story. One day a friend of mine had his PS4 fan being completely silent. I recommend him that he replace it. In the end I replaced it for him but when I was disassembling his PS4 I had to disconnect the disk drive, it was pretty much tight as !&&* and I was stupid because I didn’t know I was actually pulling the port off the motherboard, I pretty much yanked the port and it’s completely disconnected off the motherboard. If the pads are still on the motherboard, a new connector can be soldered in place. If you can, post a picture of the motherboard showing the disk connector area. I can confirm that it is repairable. Dan
