My 2016 Macbook Pro screen is faulty like many other computers like mine. I saw this post that explains whats been going on and it shows how this problem is a design fault. https://ifixit.org/blog/12903/?utm_mediu… Apple has to address this issue urgently.
Almost! You have a different problem than FlexGate. In your case your issue is more likely this Water damage to screen? If you haven’t spilled anything then you may have cooked your system in a hot truck which could have curled the defuser sheets and/or the polarizer sheet within the screen assembly. Here’s a view of the sheets from the MacBook Pro Retina Display Teardown
Sadly its time for a new display assembly ;-{ I would recommend you visit an Apple Store to see if you can convince them it’s a parts failure.
