NOT REALLY A DEVICE-SPECIFIC QUERY; MORE ANDROID-SPECIFIC How do you enable or bypass usb debugging, so as to recover data from an Android phone with a broken/illegible touchscreen? The phone is recognised by my laptop, but the folder shows empty. This must be a recurring question and there are Youtube videos claiming to offer solutions. I just don’t have the knowledge/experience to make them work without running the dire risks they mention.
From my experience, the only way to enable debugging mode is within settings so unfortunately you need to get a working screen hooked up.
