Chosen Solution
Hi Guys, my trusty old airport extreme did not come back after a restart while I tried to tweak the settings for the bridge / router mode. Now, when i turn it on, it´s the steady amber light, no connection whatsoever and the reset button is not working at all. I opened the box to see if the reset button was alright and it seems to be ok, physically, with clicking noise and intact solder points. I don´t want to throw it away, so.. any suggestions what could be the case here? thanks!
Unfortunately, a solid amber LED status light typically indicates a power failure of the base station.
