can’t get the lid open . I took the top off to get underneath the but can’t a way to release the lock. prior to the washer was not locking and would fill and refuse to drain.(I might punch him for that) I think I have a faulty lid lock switch but I need the lid opened first. To investigate!

We followed Amanda instructions to reset motor when lid locked & we could not open top of washing machine. Unplug from electrical outlet for ONE FULL MINUTE. Put plug back in electrical outlet. Red light went out & we opened the lid.
