This refrigerator was in a seven-year-old house that I bought four years ago. Every six months or so, it stops working. If I unplug it and then plug it back in, it starts back up, kind of like rebooting my computer. Weighing the expense of calling a repairman versus buying a new one?
The dashes show that it is turned off. Try pressing the buttons to turn it on. This signal comes from the controller board. It it doesn’t work replace the main controller board.
