I restored my iPod and now i am trying to get all of my apps back. When i try to drag my apps to my iPod it says.“The application facebook could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?” I cant find them anywhere on my computer.
The error means that the App file (a .ipa file) has been deleted from your computer and iTunes can’t find them on your hard drive. The easiest solution is to redownload your apps from iTunes; you can do this for free! In short, you just “buy” all your old apps again from the iTunes store; you will not be charged for them. For more details, see Apple’s App troubleshooting article, specifically the “Reinstall the application / To download the application to your device or computer again” section. You will have to do this one at a time, for each and every app.
