I believe this is the 110 series. It is the Kenmore Elite Oasis model. I purchased in 2010 but recently it has started displaying the code oL. Model # 11028032700 I just downloaded the manual and that says overload, which is what I thought it was. BUT, it does this on ALL loads regardless of size. It’s been doing this a few months and when I reposition, I set Drain and Spin and that works. HOWEVER I only just this week realized it’s NOT been washing my clothes! After 10 minutes, the timer display jumps from say 41 minutes to 4 or 5 minutes, complets the remaining minutes displayed, then drains and THEN displays oL. I’ve checked the drain hose, but I saw someone else’s answer saying something about the basket and floating. I am quarantining alone and would REALLY appreciate detailed help on how I might check this floating basket theory or other options! Thanks in advance!
Hi @dribnus Can only suggest that you check if the “tech sheet” is still with the washer. It is located in a plastic sleeve inside the washer cabinet between the tub and the cabinet at the front. The tech sheet shows how to get into the diagnostic test mode for the washer and what the subsequent error code means and the most likely causes of it. I realize that you said that there is an OL code but perhaps when doing “individual” tests for each part of a complete wash cycle something else may also show up e.g. why it may not be washing properly or timing the wash duration properly etc and that the OL code is just the last to occur before the machine stops working. The part number for the tech sheet is W10026628, but I cannot find one anywhere online, which is unusual, as usually tech sheets can be found most times. Even parts suppliers don’t have them to sell! Have read that an OL code may also be an problem with the tub operation, but you would need to remove the tub and check if there is anything that may be impeding its operation, e.g. coins, other small articles trapped below it or perhaps a rusted shaft etc. Hopefully the tech sheet is there as this will really help.
