When I open the camera app, I get a brief picture then it freezes and says “Warning : Camera failed” I’ve already replaced both the front facing camera and the rear camera module, but have the same results. I didn’t see any damaged pins/connections when I took everything apart, could it be a damaged motherboard?

@mr_shade it is possible that this is a PCB issue but there are no direct connections between components. You could check the individual components and see what that shows you.
I would also suggest to reinstall the firmware to make sure that this is not Software related. This should help located the components etc. SM G988B Schematic
