hello every body i have 407 2.0 hdi with EW10A motor The flasher lights always stay on and do not go out even when the car is off. I have airbag error too and error that all dors and trunk is open Although they are closed. The brake lights are also on when the switch is opened No error is displayed when I turn on the PPS or other diagboxs.

  1. The car thinks that the doors and the boot are open and central locking won’t lock the doors, the locks pop right back open when tried to lock. When the engine is started, the trip computer gives a message “doors, boot and rear screen open”.2) Seat belt warning light stays on even if the belt is fastened.3) Hazard warning lights go off randomly, for example when trying to lock the doors from keyfob or straight after re-connecting the battery. Also happened once by itself, when the car was standing on the parking lot. Disconnecting the battery is the only way to make them stop. Sometimes the hazard warning lights are accompanied by brake lights as well.4) And yes, the boot opening doesn’t work either… Update (04/13/2022) hello guys @jimfixer @brettfastone_ an other I solved it with new install BSI. BUT BUT BUT Problem returned after one month again. I didnt do anything! Please help me to solve it without change and buy new BSI its too expensive.

Has this car been in deep water? This sounds a lot like water damage. Have you tried resetting the PCM ? To reset the PCM disconnet the battery and then turn on the headlights on high beams . This will discharge any residual power in the PCM . Leave the car like this for an hour then reconnect the battery and hope for the best .

It sounds like perhaps a fuse has blown and will need to be replaced before resetting anything and if all the fuses are ok check all the globe’s starting with the 4 indicator globe’s (sometimes the main computer is affected by an unsteady electric current and this causes havoc with the entire electric system) I hope this solves your problem , please post an update, informing if your problem was resolved. Update (05/04/2022) The BSI unit is basically a computer which handles a multitude of functions such as odometer value, central locking, lights and immobiliser. Some later Bsi units are liable to corrupt their own software program if not “woken up” in a specific way after programming keys or battery disconnection.

  1. leave key in off position in ignition
  2. Put the driver’s window down, lift the bonnet and ensure all equipment is switched off.
  3. Ensure all doors are closed and remove key from the ignition.
  4. Wait for 3 minutes, disconnect the vehicle battery and wait 15 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the vehicle battery, wait a further 10 seconds (do not open doors.)
  6. Switch on the side lights through the driver’s window.
  7. Switch on the ignition and check system’s functionality.
  8. Hold lock button on key down for 10 seconds. 9.remove key open & close door test central locking system
  9. Start the engine and complete the system’s check. Failure to follow this procedure could result in incorrect operation of many BSI related items. It did take three attempts following this procedure before it worked.
