Hi, I purchased a Mavic Air 2S from EBay but I’m getting an error on the DJI Fly app that says “Aircraft bound to another account. Change account and try again.” I tried to reach the seller and no response. Is it possible to “unbind” the Air 2S from the previous owners DJI account?
Thank you so much! I was thinking about getting an Air 2s used as well, but now I’m having second thoughts… Have you tried contacting Dji? They might have a way to reset the firmware which might reset the internal storage, but might also unbind the account. I can bound any rc to drones that you received without RC and can’t be bound. So it is not removal dji account from drone or from dji server. Guys please don’t update your drones because dji account removal is not for free also it can’t be done on latest firmware so if you have latest firmware must to downgrade and this is not free too.

Wil there be a fix for new firmware. I updated and now cant fly bound to another account. Just wont take off now. Contacted dji they flaged it in there server i assume as a flyaway. I found it in my backyard in mint condition. There was no refresh added but somehow the owner got a replacement. So dji told me sorry its basically garbage there is nothing we can do. Was like um wtf thing is brand new and i attemted to contact you to contact owner and clearly they did. So i guess im gonna just throw it out makes no sence of causing so much waste do to this rediculous securiy feature.
