Hi, i replaced the Digitizer on my ipad mini 3 and am left with theTouchID issues and non-working Home-Button and Touchscreen. I did not throw away the old Home-Button, but i did cut the Flex cable since i was not aware of the issue when i started changing the digitizer. Is there any way i can repair the issue? Is there any way to get to the data stored on the ipad? I would not mind to much switching to another tablet, but i need the data on the ipad… Best regards, Tobias
you do not need the touch iD to work to get the iPad working again Buy a new digitizer with a home button and fit it
the connector on the motherboard are probably damaged and needs to be fixed. if you look closely on the golden pins can you se if any are bent or missing? They are quite fragile and removing the screen can easily rip them of
