Chosen Solution
I lost my original charger on a trip so I need to get a new one. Found a brand called Topnma making a non-branded but identical charger with same wattage and volts/amps rating. Can I trust it?
Hi Goodman 4525 In general it should works, but it might not be properly designed like the original, e.g. short circuit protection, safety features, etc. I know some cheap adapters, either that, output voltages can be “dirty” alot of noises, which is no good for your laptop. cheap adapters normally efficiency and safety are always a concern. perhaps you can save some money, but no one knows on the long run if it can harm your computer.
