My macbook battery has swollen up a lot. Since ifix doesn’t ship batteries to Asia and nor do others like OWC due to regulations. I was wondering if anyone knows how are these batteries ever shipped from US to middle east or asia. There’s no legit apple service provider in my country (they’d be closed anyways) and due to lockdowns and COVID-19 situation, obviously I can’t really travel elsewhere. I do have friends in the US, but it seems like courier services don’t accept “loose batteries”? Is there something I am missing or is there any other options? The only option seems to be buy a battery from Aliexpress / Chinese sources. Any other recommendations or someone similar experiences?
Maybe your best option is to order the battery fro the iFixit Australia store MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) Battery and then find a way to get it shipped or carried from there by a friend on a flight in their carryon.
