Ive Recently Orderd a new screen from amazon and when i put it on it it turned on but i couldnt touch the screen. Then i disconnected the screen and it re connected it and it didnt turn on at all then i did it again and it had lines through the screen helppl !!
Make sure that the digitizer cable is properly seated and plugged in all the way. This is the cable that has the longest port, and is the bottom-most cable when plugging the screen cables in.
When you lift the screen to get to the cables it’s probably disconnecting - happens all the time just try to lift the screen up onto the rear camera a bit so that you don’t have the cables pulling so much. Everything you mentioned sounds like a bad connection.
