Dear all! My iphone 8 plus is acting weird after aftermarket screen replacement: it freezes and reboots when I try to make a call, make a videocall (with viber or facetime) or record a video (with fornt or back cam)! Everything else works, messaging, taking photos with camera (but not video), youtube, wifi, bluetooth, sound, voice recorder… Any ideas? I have tried to clean the contact of the earpiece part and the flex cable to it, but no success…
I’m wondering if it’s an issue with the front facing camera assembly. Try turning the phone on with the front camera assembly disconnected
