Chosen Solution

After replacing the LCD screen on the iPhone 6s, upon turning the phone on the screen will work for about a second showing the home screen to type in the passcode then go black and be unresponsive. The phone will attempt to connect to iTunes but needs the passcode to be typed into the phone which is not working when plugged into the computer.

  1. Try the soft reset and see if that works.

  2. Disconnect the battery, then reconnect.

  3. Double check all of your connections for the front panel cables. Always make sure your battery is disconnected first.

  4. If these do not work, I would recommend replacing the screen again as your part might have been defective.
