Hi, We replaced an iPhone X Screen with an LCD from iFixit but since the repair, the battery is dying 3 times a day (the device has to be charged 3times a day to cover). Now we read the state of the battery and it says it’s at 80% of its capacity. Does anyone know if this can be related to the screen?
80 percent is fairly low for the battery usually recommended to be replaced at 85 percent. Secondly, lcd screens do eat more battery than oled screens since its not the screen designed for the phone more juice needs to be sent to the screen to power the back light. So its a mix of the two.
