Chosen Solution
hallo, My iPhone 5s had some problems with turning on. It gives an apple sign and then a red screen and goes back to the apple sign etc.. It gets in a loop. So i read on the internet that it had something to do with the front camera and sensor cable (the sensor should be broken). And indeed the sensor was broken. I plugged the cable out and the iPhone succeed in turning on. So my problem was solved, i thought. But after removing the front camera and sensor cable the touch screen won’t work anymore. (i have also replaced the touch screen because it was broken.). So my question is, if i plug in a new sensor and front camera cable will the touch screen be fixed? or is something else broken which will cause the failure in the touch screen? thanks for the recommends! Jelle
Touch function is independent of the red screen/proxy sensor problem. This is either damage to the screen itself, poor connection, or damage to the touch connector on the board. All are common
Yes it should work if the sensor is replaced and if the screen is new :)
