Chosen Solution
I bought an iPad Air 2 with a broken screen online and used it with no issues for about a month before I bought the new LCD & digitizer. Since the replacement, everytime that I turn it on, the apple logo will light up normally for about half a second and then goes dim. Then I can only see the screen with a really bright light shined on it. I’ve gone into settings and messed with those, I’ve done hard/soft resets, I’ve updated it, I’ve factory restored it, but nothing helps. Any other ideas?
Usually when this happens to iPads its always blown fuse or burnt diode. Happens all the time with the mini but not sure about the Air 2.
