I have followed the steps in your ifixit.com for replacing the Home Button. iPhone 4 Home Button Replacement After i packed the phone and started the touchscreen is not responding to touch. the home button and power button and volume button are working perfectly. Because touch is not working i cannot use anything on the phone and not even unlock it :( did i miss any connection or what should I check to ensure the screen responds back.
Make sure the digitizer cable is perfectly seated to logic board. This is the cable that is frequently damaged when the screen is installed, maybe it got damaged.
