lightening from outside electric pole, therefore, modem are also broken. this router seems everything working, but when I connect the internet cable, it doesn’t seem to read any. There is no indication light when the internet cable is connected
Hi @schach Aww that is nasty… if it is under warranty…. send in to get it repaired. Some countries have 36 months covered. Had some experiences on lighting damages… especially during ADSL era… many modems were fried…. cannot detect carrier signal. If there is no warranty left….. you need to open up and check….. hopefully is some scr being sacrificed to prevent further damage, else also need to change the controller, and misc Interesting read.. https://incompliancemag.com/article/desi…
