After battery replacement with iFixIt battery, phone will not turn on. About 1 week ago, I ordered a replacement battery from iFixit. after I put everything back together, the phone screen is not working. The phone vibrates when it is first plugged in, and my computer recognizes the iPhone. Message from iTunes - restore the screen has the look like the restore is happening and the iTunes screen reads waiting for iPhone However, the screen shows restoring. I opened it up again and double checked that every single connecter was connected and plugged in. I let the battery charge back up over 8 hours on my spare laptop while I went to work when I returned iTunes message was waiting for iPhone I plugged the phone into the wall, the phone screen won’t turn on at all. It is recognized with the laptop but never leave the screen waiting for iPhone

Did you go any further than just disconnecting and replacing the battery when you did the repair? What can happen frequently with Iphone repairs on the 4 and 4s is that the lcd cable can just simply come loose or not be connecting properly. Almost every time someone comes to me after a repair with a blank or black screen but the phone is on, I just disconnect, clean, and reconnect firmly the lcd cable. Let me know if this helps at all.
