I have replaced the battery on my macbook pro. Everything goes well except that the computer suddenly shuts down when the battery reaches 3%. Instead of going into sleep mode, it just shuts down and will restart the system when turned back on, instead of getting off sleep mode. I tried both the PRAM and SMC reset without success. Any hint? clearly something is wrong. Two days back according to coconut the health of the battery was 95% after 4 cycles, and the charge capacity was already less than the declared 8600mAh. Today I tried a few times the SMC reset, and every time I plugged the charging cable it added a cycle count, so went pretty rapidly from 8 to 14.
