Chosen Solution
All instructions followed to replace battery with Pixel 3 XL. Fingerprint sensor cable was last connected before closing the back cover with adhesive applied. Now the phone no longer shows the Pixel Imprint option to enroll the fingerprint. Any suggestion?
Hi,The fingerprint sensor is very fragile you may have broken it during your repair.You could replace the fingerprint sensor or take it to a local repair shop for a diagnosis
Hi, same problem here. I think Ifixit should take a look because selling the batteries they should advice on how to avoid this to happen because it has happened to several people as I’m reading everywhere. In the tutorial you posted to try the official google fingerprint calibration tool which only work for pixel 6, 6 pro and 6a.
