I have an Acer aspire 5742 which keeps on beeping and freezing when am watching movies or playing music with any player on a loud volume. I have tried reinstalling my Realtek high definition audio driver but nothing works. I need help.
Your computer may keep beeping and freezing because it is overheating. Movies and audio use a lot of power, and this can make the inside of your computer very hot. Please make sure that your computer’s air vents are clear and dust-free. You should be able to feel air being blown out of the case. If your computer’s cooling system is inadequate, it may need to be repaired.
