A1181 Is No Longer Able To Keep Up With The Latest Os X Now What Macbook Core 2 Duo

A1181 is no longer able to keep up with the latest OS X. Now what? I’ve updated my A1181 and it’s in amazing shape but it won’t go higher than OS 10.7.5 So what is everyone doing with their aging MB C2D?

I have installed Ubuntu on my C2D MB and it works great. I don’t trust 10.7.5 anymore because it has some serious security holes and I don’t feel like getting screwed over.
