Hi, am sorry to pick up the wrong model but I currently have a Asus Vivobook 17 M712D, It has 8GB ram and am planning to upgrade to 32GB of ram. What are the advantages to upgrading ram on this types of laptops? Thanks
Hi @charlyboy , Why do you need so much ram? In the end performance is limited by the CPU type and motherboard i.e. chipset as this is where the bottlenecks usually occur. Depending on the actual specifications of your model, e.g. installed CPU, GPU etc, according to this review “the notebook is suited for various office applications and can also run simple or older games on low settings”.
