Hi guys, I am working currently on a water damaged logic board 820-00165 Its my first time and I am still figuring things out. Right now: No charger light, no fan spinning Voltage is on PP3V42_G3H 1.79-1.8V When injecting 3.4V to PP3V42_G3H fan is spinning. I connected the display to see if I get an image and there we go. Display and SSD working. What would be the next step to see what cause only ~1.8V on PP3V42_G3H? Thanks! Cheers bryan
Are you able to run the onboard diagnostics pressing the D key while you inject power? Check Steps 6 & 7 in the MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Teardown to identify the major chips if you don’t have a boardview drawing. Clearly your logic board has a problem its now a matter of what your skills are Vs just getting a new board.
